For labels & partners

Musicstax API

Programmatic access to artist and track performance data for record labels, A&R teams, distributors, and music industry platforms. Built for internal dashboards, reporting, and A&R tools.

Who it’s for

The API is offered under partnership to organisations that need to integrate Musicstax data into their own workflows. Typical partners include:

  • Record labels (roster monitoring, A&R discovery, reporting)
  • Distributors and rights holders (catalog performance, partner reporting)
  • A&R and talent teams (growth metrics, leaderboards, trend data)
  • Music industry platforms (embedding metrics or building on top of our data)

What you get

Access to the same performance and growth data that powers Musicstax Metrics, so you can build internal tools and reports.

Artist & roster data

Followers, monthly listeners, growth over time, and cross-platform metrics (Spotify, TikTok, Deezer, and more) for your roster or for discovery.

Track performance

Popularity scores, stream counts, and historical trends at track level so you can measure singles, campaigns, and catalog performance.

Leaderboard & growth

Ranked growth data (e.g. fastest-growing artists by period) for A&R discovery and trend reports.

Flexible integration

REST-style access with authentication. We work with you on rate limits, data scope, and SLAs to fit your use case.

How access works

Paid members can create a self-service API key to pull data for the artists and tracks they've upgraded — perfect for your own dashboards and reporting. Access to data beyond your own roster (e.g. discovery across all artists, leaderboards, or higher volumes) is granted by partnership agreement.

Self-service (your catalogue)

Included with paid plans once your trial period is over. Create a key from your dashboard and fetch popularity, audio features and social stats for the artists and tracks you've upgraded.

Partnership (wider data)

For roster-wide discovery, leaderboards, white-label use or higher request volumes. Granted by agreement so we can scope data, rate limits, and terms to your use case.

API pricing

Simple monthly pricing. We don’t charge per request — but access is subject to fair use. Typical internal use (dashboards, reporting, A&R tools) fits Standard; very high request volumes are scoped under Enterprise or custom terms.

Custom implementations (e.g. bespoke integrations, white-label builds, or dedicated onboarding) may incur an upfront implementation charge. We’ll confirm scope and any one-off fees before you commit.

API Standard

From $199/month

Full API access for labels and partners. Artist, track, and leaderboard data. Authentication, documentation, and email support. Suited to fair-use volume for internal tools (e.g. dashboards, sync jobs). High request rates may require Enterprise.

  • Artist & roster metrics
  • Track performance & history
  • Leaderboard & growth data
  • Docs & email support

API Enterprise

Custom

For larger teams, higher volume, SLA requirements, or white-label use. We’ll scope data, rate limits, and support to your needs.

  • Everything in Standard
  • Higher volume / custom limits
  • SLA & dedicated support
  • White-label options
Contact sales

Fair use. Standard pricing starts from $199/month for typical internal usage. If your expected request volume is high (e.g. many requests per second or very large batch syncs), we’ll agree appropriate limits or point you to Enterprise. No per-call metering — we just need usage to stay within what we’ve scoped together.

Typical use cases

  • Internal dashboards showing roster health, top growers, and campaign impact
  • A&R tools that surface emerging artists by growth, genre, or region
  • Reporting pipelines that pull metrics into your own BI or spreadsheets
  • Embedding charts or “powered by Musicstax” widgets in partner or white-label portals
